Dahiana Méndez and Carla Moscatelli compose and decompose through their performance, portraying more than 12 distinct characters. The production focuses on the poetic heart of theatre: narrative and how monstrous a performance can become when it transforms into a critical and sensitive procedure for reflecting on what it means to be human. What do we do with a monster? Touching is being touched; touching means being touched by what you touch. Is it possible to anticipate a monster's impulses? Can they be tamed? Where were these monsters before? Where will they be tomorrow? Will it be possible to devour it before it devours us? Can we do it without becoming one ourselves? Touching a Monster travels through land, river and air, crosses different social classes, visits secondary schools, housing cooperatives, hotels and nurseries, to attempt to understand horror. It tries to trace the origin of the terrible, but always arrives too late, because no matter how early it arrives anywhere, the monster has already been born. Now, at this very instant, what monster will the world be giving birth to? In a corner of Cotón forest, Teo, a twelve-year-old boy, is sent by his father to hunt a bear.
