Produced by: PIANO PIANO Tribute to Alfredo Zitarrosa Extreme Milongas brings to Antel Arena next Thursday, October 22nd the tribute show to Alfredo Zitarrosa marking 90 years since his birth. The renowned Uruguayan band, which fuses Rioplatense folkloric roots with rock power in its own distinctive style, presents an artistic proposal with great scenic content and profound cultural value, exploring the work and historical legacy of one of the greatest references in Uruguayan and Latin American popular music. With distinguished guests, the show offers a contemporary perspective on the Zitarrosa universe, celebrating his poetry, his commitment and his enormous influence on generations of artists and audiences. This tribute also has important precedent: between 2024 and 2025, Extreme Milongas performs a series of seven shows dedicated to Alfredo Zitarrosa's work at Sala Zitarrosa and an edition at Centro Cultural Konex in Buenos Aires with a total of more than four thousand spectators. The show at Antel Arena also marks the closing of this tribute cycle, bringing the proposal to a new artistic and scenic dimension. The stage production is an audiovisual work developed jointly with Archivo Zitarrosa, integrating visual material and historical records that dialogue with live music and deepen the emotional and heritage experience of the show.
